The factory. An army of identical heads turned toward the same source of heat. This yellow is not joyful; it is intense, imposed by the midday sun. The plant works—it converts light into energy before withering. There is no individuality in this field, only a vegetal mechanism, dense and silent, running at full capacity before the harvest.
