Les Herbes

The wasteland. These are nothing more than wild grasses, growing where the ground was free. No one planted them; no one will cut them. The wind knocks them down, and they rise again, mechanically. It is default vegetation the kind you don’t notice. An accidental presence, made of dryness and low light, fragile in appearance yet tenacious by necessity.
